As a Presenter, you are able to manage the Chat Panel for your event.All settings are available in the Host Control Panel.
Presenters are able to manage chat options for attendees using the Host Control Panel during the live event.These settings include having chat available for attendees, disabling it, allowing private chat and more.Learn more about how to manage the Chat Panel settings below.
How to Manage the Chat Panel on the Host Control Panel
1.Make sure you're aPresenterand have access to theHost Control Panel
2.Inside the Host Control Panel,click on the switch to Enable or DisabletheChat PanelandPublic Chat.
3.If the switch isBLUE, thePublic Chatwill be on.All attendees will be able to freely chat.If it isGREY, thePublic Chatwill only work for Presenters.Attendees will see their chats but will be unable to chat back.
4. Turning off public chat still allows for attendees to chatPrivatelywith presenters by going to theChat tab, selectingPrivate,and clicking the person's name.Only the presenter being chatted with can see this.
5.If the switch isBLUE, theChat Panelwill be on.All attendees will be able to freely chat.If it isGREY, theChat Panelwill be completely removed.This will disablePublic Chatas well asPrivate Chat.
